Zero Waste Consult is a Uganda-based standards and certification consultancy working with banks, SACCOs, NGOs, manufacturers and government-aligned bodies across East Africa.
Zero Waste Consult began with a hands-on discipline: getting the collection, transport, reuse, recycling and disposal of electronic and hazardous waste right, from legislation through to the final step. That work required us to understand environmental and safety standards from the inside — not as theory, but as daily practice.
That grounding became the foundation for a broader standards and certification consultancy. Today we take organisations through certification against ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000, and provide independent conformity assessment for the construction sector — while continuing the waste management work that shaped how we think about compliance.
