Quality Manager
Responsibility of Technical, Quality and Cost-effective Manufacturing of the
Products. In addition, it also involves Plant Quality and Process Safety, Health
and Environmental activities related to the plant and person, Plant related IR
and Cost-effective plant operations.

Responsibilities
Candidates can look forward to regular client contact, a role in business development and proposal writing/methodology creation, and a
- Coordinate and manage production on a day to day, monthly and yearly
basis, ensuring best utilization of production capacity, deployment of
manpower and other resources; - Handling the documentation and control; preparing SOP / Work
Instructions for key processes; - Review of the Safety, Health and Environment system of the plant
concerning man and equipment; - Liaison with Sales and Marketing on specific issues;
- Ensuring proper maintenance of all the norms as per the departmental
operating procedures of ISO 9001/ Product Standards – as per new
guidelines; - Ensure that the discharge parameter of all the equipment in the plant are
within the statutory limits and health and hygiene of the plant personnel
is well maintained; - Adherence to PPE usage of the plant personnel and the Work Permit
system is properly followed; - Process development, closely coordinating with the Quality Control;
- Cost control in operations by controlling the use of Utilities items and
implementation of the same in the cost sheet of products ensuring better
profitability; - Control of the outflow of Effluent from the Plants;
- Preparation of monthly production statement for of Paint specific MSDS;
- Facing Customer /UNBS audit & corrective actions;
- Conduct incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and
associated reporting and action closure; - Six sigma approach & completion of Improvement projects as per target.
Skills/Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in chemical industry and not more than 35 years of age;
- The candidate should be M.Sc./B. Tech / Industrial Chemistry and related relevant technical qualifications;
- Prior experience in the Industry in Monitoring Shift Operations in the Paint Industry for a significant production volume;
- Ability to sustain and develop team working and team based problem
solving; - Hands on experience in the paint industry is an added advantage;
- Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as business
needs dictate; Great interpersonal communication skills;
