Manager – Product Marketing
Manager – Product Marketing required for Painting Company. The candidate
should have experience in the Chemical, Paint, and Pigment Industry. Excellent
Communication Skill is a Must.

Responsibilities
Candidates can look forward to regular client contact, a role in business development and proposal writing/methodology creation, and a
- Manage Product placement, key product improvement, competition and
tracking. Suggest new SKU’s at profitable price points to improve share
and consumer preference. Drive product launches and scale-up as per the
brand calendar; - Carry Product bench-marking wrt global and domestic market trends (ASP
improvement); - Organize Business development through, i.e. business growth in addition
of new segments; - Competition Price Mapping ( From Market Operating Cost to Retail Price );
- Develop /Implement sales training modules and report progress on key
matrix; - Drive channel participation, wrt achievement of business plans & Sellout
management; - Tokens and targeted promotions, displays/training’s and trade or dealer
events; - Plan annual budget and activity calendar for various market development
activities; - Conceptualize, execute and settle various consumer promotions to
increase width and depth of placement; - Maintaining healthy relations with cross-functional teams like Supply chain,
QC, Packaging, R&D, and sales for enabling collaborative work; - Engage with supply chain and operations teams for sales forecasting and
inventory management of newly launched products; - Facilitate a smooth handover to distribution system post product
stabilization; - Create different training modules for the internal team as well as end-users to
generate awareness.
Skills/Experience
- BSc/MSc degree in Marketing, Business administration, Communications, or a related field;
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in marketing and should be 27-35
years of age; - Must be highly organized and have TIME MANAGEMENT;
- Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as business
needs dictate; - Language preferred: Swahili, English & Luganda
- Great interpersonal communication skills;
- Great analytical skills;
- A keen grasp of information technology;
- Professional demeanor;
- Personal accountability and strong work ethic;
- Professional, able to interact with vendors/clients;
- Positive, “can do” attitude.
